Inside-Out is entering the world.

The twelve booklets are complete.

On September 15, Inside-Out: Standing in a Threshold will be released at Printed Matter in New York, with a conversation between Frédéric Tcheng, Kathryn Andrews, Michael Joo, and me.

The following evening, September 16, Inside-Out will be included in Guild & Greyshkul at Cooper Union, an exhibition organized by Anya Kielar, Johannes VanDerBeek, and Sara VanDerBeek.

From there, the work continues outward.

In Los Angeles, The Judith Center is developing public programming around Inside-Out and Deep Listening, in relation to the work and legacy of Pauline Oliveros. An edition will also enter The Judith Center’s library.

Conversations are also beginning with MSU Broad Art Museum around the work’s possible institutional life and future public programming.

Editions are beginning to circulate privately as well.

Inside-Out is no longer only something I am making.
It is beginning to have a life beyond me.

In the studio, new works are appearing alongside it.

Silk, plexiglass, light, torn surfaces.
Weather returning in another form.
Images becoming objects.
Things being held together without becoming fixed.

The language is moving between forms.
